Overview

Hivelayer operates this static website. This notice explains the limited information processed when you visit the site or contact Hivelayer.

Information Processed

Hivelayer does not offer accounts, forms, comments, advertising, or third-party embeds. If you email Hivelayer, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include.

Cloudflare processes ordinary request and technical data needed to resolve the domain, deliver pages, maintain security, and diagnose performance. Depending on the service involved, this may include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, and security events.

Cloudflare Services and Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare for DNS, hosting, content delivery, security, and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics collects privacy-first, aggregate usage and performance measurements, does not collect or use visitors' personal data, does not track individuals across sites, and does not use cookies or local storage for usage metrics.

Analytics dimensions may include country, host, path, referring site, device type, browser, operating system, and navigation type. Hivelayer uses this information only to understand aggregate traffic and site performance. For more information, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Hivelayer does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies if a security, bot-management, challenge, rate-limiting, or similar feature is triggered. Those cookies support site delivery or security rather than advertising.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to deliver and secure the site, understand aggregate traffic and performance, respond to email, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, these activities are based on Hivelayer's legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site, responding to messages, and understanding site performance.

Sharing

Hivelayer does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. Information may be processed by Cloudflare and email providers that support the site, or disclosed when reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

Retention

Email messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate records, or meet legal obligations. Cloudflare retains analytics, security, and infrastructure data according to its service settings, contracts, and policies. Hivelayer does not maintain a separate visitor profile or analytics database.

International Processing

Cloudflare and email providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use for international transfers.

External Links

This site links to third-party websites and services, including X, Discord, Patreon, YouTube, whenisitlive.com, and email. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. The privacy link may open in a new tab on desktop screens and in the same tab on mobile screens; that behavior does not change what Hivelayer collects.

Your Choices

You can avoid sending personal information by not emailing Hivelayer or visiting third-party links. Because Hivelayer does not sell personal information or use cross-site behavioral advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out to exercise. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not change the site's behavior because the site does not engage in those activities.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or complain to a privacy regulator. To make a request, email privacy@hivelayer.com. Hivelayer may need enough information to understand and verify the request. Because the site keeps very little information, Hivelayer may have no data that can reasonably be linked to you.

Children

This general-audience site is not directed to children under 13, and Hivelayer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the site or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
